Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Please review our arrival and dismissal procedures to help ensure smooth, safe operations for everyone.

Arrival Procedures

All vehicles should enter through Lindenwood or the Olathe South High School driveway and proceed to the designated drop-off area, marked by painted rectangles on the sidewalk. After dropping off students, drivers may choose to exit via Lindenwood or Olathe South. Please remember, student drop-off is not permitted before 8:35 a.m. All traffic will continue moving in a single direction — counterclockwise — as we have done previously.

Dismissal Procedures

We will continue using our established dismissal and number system to ensure a quick, efficient pickup process. Please follow the procedures below:

  • Entry: All cars should continue to enter through the Olathe South Drive as we have done this year. Please note that entry from Lindenwood during dismissal is not permitted, as we will not have your number entered into the system if you enter from this direction. This helps us ensure each student is released to the correct vehicle.
  • Exit: After picking up your student, you may exit via Olathe South or Lindenwood. Please yield to buses to allow them safe access to the pick-up area.
  • Buses: All buses will enter through Lindenwood to ensure minimal disruptions to the car rider line.
  • During the school day: The bridge entrance will be open for entry and/or exit use.
